NO DISTRACTIONS! 

For 7 Years I lived with Kumu Pa'a Lawrence Aki in the valley of his birth, Halawa, Molokai. When I committed through Kapu Kai to my teacher and our lineage, I made the decision to move full time into the valley of Halawa. Kumu Lawrence said to me at that time that the entire valley of Halawa was my Halau, my School. Halawa will forever be engrained into my being. With the careful guidance and sometimes stern tutelage of my Kumu, Halawa became the place for me to be fully concentrated in the teachings of my Ancestors. Day and Night, Night and Day we lived together in this Sacred Valley. It changed my Life Forever.
