Join us for our comprehensive 5-day Ola LomiLomi Training Retreat. This program is designed for both beginners and advanced practitioners eager to learn and refine the art of LomiLomi.

Under the guidance of Kumu Pa'a Kawika Foster, participants will delve into authentic Hawaiian teachings, engaging in traditional Hawaiian ceremonies such as the creation of a healing Kuahu (shrine), saltwater cleansing rituals, and the Awa Ceremony.

The retreat will cover a range of techniques, including deep and gentle methods, underbody and cross-body techniques, as well as introductory skills in bone, joint, and pressure work.

This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of LomiLomi within its cultural context, enhancing your healing practice in a serene and supportive environment.

Kukakuka Talk Story and sharing of Traditional Hawaiian Healing and LomiLomi Foundations.

Kapu Kai and Pi Kai- Salt water cleansing and Salt water blessing.

Hihu’wai- Fresh water rejuvenation – to plunge into fresh water usually after a Kapukai

Awa Ceremony to bring forth a unity of Spirit, Mind and Body.

Pani, Prayerful Closure Ceremony in which we share specific foods on a Spiritual Level.

*Bones and Joints are apart of an enormous set of knowledge preserved from our ancestors and we will offer an introduction to these facets of Hawaiian Bodywork.

KUMU PA'A KAWIKA FOSTER

A dedicated practitioner and teacher of LomiLomi, carrying the knowledge of his ancestors with deep respect and commitment. Rooted in a lineage of Hawaiian healing, he shares the traditional practices passed down through generations, ensuring that LomiLomi remains connected to its spiritual and cultural foundation. His teachings go beyond technique, integrating the values of Aloha, Pono (balance), and Pilina (connection) to guide students in both the physical and spiritual aspects of this sacred healing art. Through hands-on training, ceremony, and ancestral wisdom, Kumu Paʻa Kawika Foster provides an authentic learning experience for those seeking to understand and practice LomiLomi in its true form.

*Cancellation Policy*

We cannot accept responsibility for changes in your personal circumstances. Please choose the trainings and retreats carefully. When circumstances permit: one month prior to course commencement date provides an 80% refund, two weeks prior permits a 50% refund and cancellation within two weeks of any course or retreat start date unfortunately a refund cannot be given. All refunds will incur a $25 administration charge per course. If Mana O Kahiko cancels a course or retreat a full refund will be provided. Mahalo nui.
