Oneness.
Everybody talks about this oneness. Itʻs really popular to speak out about this oneness and its unfortunate that many people who speak this word have no understanding of what they really mean. Where that oneness really comes from. That oneness in the understanding of my ancestry comes from that understanding of Ohana - of Family. But what it really boils down to, is understanding how we came to be in this universe.
Through our birth. That's really where the oneness comes from. It's understanding our origin and how we came to be in existence in this universe. Through birth. All you gotta do, every single day, every moment you find yourself questioning your place, your belonging, what it means to be spiritual, any time that that kind of disruption arises in your life, all you gotta do is lift up your shirt, and take a really good look at your belly button.
The metaphoric, symbolic essence of what that part of your being represents. It represents your connection, your umbilical cord that streams all the way back to the place and space of your origin, to the deep, deep, black beyond black darkness of your birth. Where you came from and indeed where everything came from. The sun, the moon, the trees, all of it - born, a part of, connected, spiritually mentally, physically.
