The Ea Spirit Lomilomi Retreat from Mana O Kahiko - Spirit Power of Our Ancestors is touring Europe this Autumn and welcomes you to experience traditional Hawaiian healing through the rich ceremonies and protocol that are the foundation of Hawaiian Spirituality and Culture.

These 5 day retreats are guided by Kumu Pa'a Kawika Foster, the 51st generation of traditional teachers and cultural practitioners from the island of Molokai, Hawaii. The week is focused on the traditional ceremonies of healing and held at the beautiful retreat locations of Flumserberg, Switzerland.

Practitioners of healing all over the world share ancestral roots somewhere down the line. We are all indigenous and we are at work to restore health, wellness and balance in the world. The world needs healers right now and Mana Lomilomi is designed to deepen your understanding in the art of touch allowing healing to take place. 

Lomilomi entered into the realm of healing by first understanding the Hawaiian Spiritual Foundation/ Pillars, then applying this knowledge with wisdom, prayer and an unwavering knowing of the existence of a power outside and higher than oneself. 

Lomilomi is not cosmetic or a technique. Traditional Lomilomi derives from a much older grandfather teaching called Hamohamo. While this is not taught today, the source of this healing practice remains with Spirit and practitioners align themselves to be a conduit for the spirit giving massage. While healing is not about you, it is very much about where you are at and the strength and clarity of the relationships you nurture with the source of healing. For Hawaii nei, we had over 400,000 Gods and Goddesses, and then there is our family in spirit and form, the Guardians (na aumakua) and Ancestors (poe Kahiko). 

The Es Spirit LomiLomi Retreat is for all. Experience in Lomilomi Massage is not necessary, a passion to learn and look to the way of our ancestors is required to build a solid foundation for healing. The purpose of the retreat is to restore our deepest connections within the sanctity of ceremony, to free and clear our relationship with the higher being/s and have an opportunity to witness and learn directly from a Traditional Kumu, an expert in the realm of healing. 

The Ea Spirit Lomilomi program combines ancient wisdom with a modern approach and this time in ceremony presents an opportunity to honour our ancestors, to go within ourselves and remember our connection to this old and yet present way of living and being. We are supported by these traditional protocols and ceremonies involved in healing, purification, rejuvenation and connecting to our ancestors and are an integral part of the program. The foundation of traditional healing will be explored each evening with in-depth talk story discussions and a daily hands-on approach to develop the skills in lomilomi and what it means to work with the Spirit of Massage.

It is the real world and our everyday lives, the way of aloha - love and meet life, pono - righteous, that we care for our family relationships and do the work of living health and happiness. It continues with those walking the ancient path of the sacred and the healer, today.
